What are the installation methods of decorative lights

Decorative lanterns are gradually emerging in the decoration industry because of their light, thin, soft, long life, safety and other characteristics. However, as decorative lights are emerging products, many customers have not used them and do not know how to install them. Here's how to install decorative lights:

1.Indoor installation: when decorative color lights are used for indoor decoration, the installation is very simple because they do not have to withstand the wind and rain. The back of each decorative color lamp is pasted with self-adhesive 3M double-sided adhesive tape. During installation, the stickers on the surface of 3M double-sided adhesive tape can be directly removed, and then the lamp strip can be fixed at the place where it needs to be installed, and it can be pressed flat by hand. What if some places need corners or are long? Very simple, the decorative color lamp is a circuit structure composed of three LEDs in series and parallel. Every three LEDs can be cut and used separately.

2. Outdoor installation: outdoor installation will be exposed to the wind and rain. If 3M adhesive is used for fixing, the adhesive property of 3M will be reduced over time and the LED decorative color lamp will fall off. Therefore, the outdoor installation often adopts the method of fixing with a card slot. The method of cutting and connecting is the same as that of indoor installation, except that it needs to be equipped with waterproof adhesive to consolidate the waterproof effect of the connection point.

3. Controller connection mode: LED running light belt and RGB full-color light belt need to use a controller to achieve the changing effect, and the control distance of each controller is different. Generally speaking, the control distance of simple controller is 10 to 15 meters, the control distance of remote controller is 15 to 20 meters, and the maximum can be controlled to 30 meters.

If the connection distance of the decorative color lamp is long, and the controller cannot control such a long lamp strip, the power amplifier needs to be used for tapping.
